MFB 3rd alarm response "Mr Brown"

Howdy all,

Just wanted to say this is a very valuable and informative forum.

I was listening to the 3rd alarm factory fire today in Moorabbin, and I heard a "Mr Brown" responding (speak to VKN8 etc). I am curious if anyone is aware who this is/what type of resource they are? CFA maybe?

Assistant Chief Fire Officer or ACFO. The duty ACFO responds to 3rd alarm and above I believe. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Certainly heard the ACFO responding, but this Mr Brown entity was seperate. Maybe Mr Brown as Pumper_50 mentioned also responded? I'm perplexed as the ACFO referred to himself as such, and Mr Brown referred to himself as such.

According to MFB wiki, ACFO go to 3rd alarms and above.

Did you hear ACFO or did you hear AOC#.
Eg AOC 8, AOC 3.
