Trunking system help (396XT)

Post by bagman002 »

Hi guys,

I have spent some time reading other threads regarding trunking issues/help. I did find reference to a tutorial created by a member of this forum but can't find the document itself. Thread: http://www.aussiescanners.com.au/forum/ ... 216&t=1523

I have a general understanding on how a trunked system works but I need some help understanding how to program it into my scanner.

I am using the Uniden 396XT with Freescan. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Brent.
Sold my Uniden 93XLT and now using Uniden 396XT

That tutorial was/is all about setting up the UBCT-8 and UBCT-9 for use with a Motorola Smartnet System, so you are not missing much by not being able to find it.

There is only one known Smartnet Trunked system in Brisbane which seems to not have any calls going through it.
