GRN Encription
While listening to techs on 19933 working in the Nyngan aera. The comment was about being careful in what was being discussed. The end result is that the GRN is soon to be totally encrypted. Okay, if they don't want anyone listen to their transmission, why bother helping them when they seek public help. At one time scanner information was a helping hand with an extra pare of eyes. So they don't want scanner users listening, then why help them with information leading to crime solving?

Re: GRN Encription
How does it help crime solving? By chasing the calls? Dont think so. Most likely to stop the critical users ending up being streamed online to every man and his dog with a smart phone.

Most Trunking system Tech's use Encryption so that the general users who try and work out there system have no clue about any of the changes that are occuring
