Has Bundaberg gone fully digital?

Gday all, can anyone tell me if Bundaberg has gone fully digital yet?

Only the outlying rural stations (GinGin, Childers, etc) can be heard at nights on their usual analogue freqs and there is minimal radio traffic throughout the day.

If they have, is there any way to receive it??

If they have gone digital, like the Brisbane area, then NO way to receive it....
I am unsure if they have as yet, fingers cross the country areas don't follow the Brisbane area as it is always interesting to listen into QPS in the less urban areas.

Is it possible that they have split the Comms up into Bundaberg Division Channels, and Bundaberg District Channels, and you're only hearing the District Channels.

Bundaberg Division = the City of Bundaberg (including any Shop Front or Beat Offices)
Bundaberg District = Outlying Rural Stations (to use your terminology).

In Queensland, with the exception of Brisbane Metro North, each Station is a Division, and a number of Divisions lumped together form a District.

I agree. Here in Gympie they used three discrete channels and now they have linked them. There are also several other frequencies used for out lying areas. They can switch them into the main net when something is happening.
