Try 468.575 which is gympie and 468.100 which covers the likes of murgon etc.

with my handheld I loose it by the time I get to Kybong

a few years ago they operated on 468.700 in Gympie and 468.350 up past Gunalda
but that was at least 5 years ago

i could have found out for you as i went through there not that long ago however i wasn't listening to QPS on the way i only listened to QFRS and QAS on the way up and on the way back aswell maybe next time i am up there

Main Gympie repeater is at the fire station and is on 469.275. This is duplicated on 468.575 from Mt Wolvi. 468.100 is at Mt Widgee and covers out to Kingaroy. Maryborough Police district is within 20 kilometres of Gympie and they operate on 469.300. A new frequency located on Mount Corella is due to open soon on 469468.4125.

Sunshine Coast Police can be heard easily on either 469.175 or 469.100.

Yeah, they call it passion fingers! Frequency should be 468.4125.
