Actually I stand corrected, I looked at a similar listing (for smaller versions of Uniden radios), that one actually looks like it may do the job...

Did we work out wether those brackets would fit a t8/9 or a 780xlt ? I am after two of them and mounting screws.

you can buy these mounting brackets from uniden australia spare parts cost $8 for bracket and 5o cents each for thumbsrews hope this helps
