No no no he's thinking your meaning adding ranks for members of the site etc because it was posted in the suggestions area :P Bananaman is meaning ranks for people in the emergency services.

i wanted to know the police ranks as i was talking to a senior sargent at the bp yesterday but under his name it said officer in charge is this 101 or just a senior sargent ?

One doesn't have to be a Commissioned Rank to be an Officer in Charge.

An Officer in Charge of a one-man Station might only be a Senior Constable.
