Scanning NZ
Hey everyone, Few of you may know I am moving to NZ and I would like to know if anyone knows any Freqs I can punch into the 208H?

There used to be a site called NZScanners which was bloody awesome but it was taken down a couple of months ago and this is what popped up instead http://www.radiowiki.org.nz/index.php/Main_Page it has alot of information but not as great I dont think.

where abouts in NZ ?
the new radio wiki site, that is up is current and has been going for a while now, it was that nzscanners was redirected there.
Any questions ask away, there is a very active group on an irc channel, that were members of nzscanners, who basically built radiowiki.
Just ask if ya need any help, as Shane and myself were originally from NZ

If I remember rightly you might not have much luck unless you have a scanner as I think they are in the 75mhz band unless theres a UHF Link for it.

Anyone else know anything here in NZ? i had the icom ic40s today while i was on my day trip down to the taranaki mill and all i got was some poo interferance on channel 39 and while i was in taranaki i herd some guy say a few bits and peices on 34? so not many people use use here, alot of it is am i think.

UHF CB traffic isn't as busy in NZ I found, ask BG for some frequencies hes from Taranaki and im sure he knows all the good ones

Taranaki Mill ? as in Taranaki Pine the sawmill ?
If so I worked there as a supervisor in the reman dept for 10 years, I left there and came to OZ, last May
