all of those racq ones are for the Brisbane Area, it was rummed that there are voice comms in GC however i am very rarely down that way.

How do you guys find out the CTSS freq???

i use WinCTCSS hocked up to my discriminator tap. shows me the ctcss of the user. i also use WinMDCD for Corrective Services as they are using this there is another few out there that use the same but never hear them.

gives you the original audio before it is filtered. i could be wrong but that is my knowledge

Uniden digital scanner is able to search for subaudible (ctcss/dcs) when it stops on transmission during searches.

Another shortcoming of the UBCT9. No CTSS

I'll check my Icom IC-R5. I think it has it somewhere....the manual is not for beginners
