McDonalds
I would like to test my scanners to see which one receives a 2 way drive thru order system.
There is a McDonalds 300 metres up the road from my house.
Do they have digital or analog equipment?
Anyone know their frequencies?
Yes, there's quite a lot on Google, but you may save me time if you already know.what they use here in SEQLD

Re: McDonalds
I think most of them are wired intercoms. Have look at the link bellow. Its the one uniden has on their website search by post code and you should be able to find it if its wireless

Re: McDonalds
The headsets that most of them use now are running on 2.4ghz like a walk around cordless phone im pretty sure. That 30.4000 frequency or whatever it is has never worked for me at any of my locals.

Re: McDonalds
Nowadays McDonalds use HME headsets, which are 2.4 GHz, and use FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum)AIRMAN wrote:I would like to test my scanners to see which one receives a 2 way drive thru order system.

Re: McDonalds
If your local Macca's is using the HME headset, it won't register on your "Frequency Counter".jaskel wrote:Ill take my freq counter in next time im there!

Re: McDonalds
They are spread spectrum and it doesn't matter how big the antenna is, you won't hear them.
