477MHz antenna picking up ambulance frequency

Hi there, my new GME radio can be programmed up to 19 extra frequencies (403-520MHz). I was wondering if a normal 477MHz antenna would pick up the frequency range of the radio.

Good Afternoon, Yes it will work for receive only and still be ok for 476 - 477 mHz TX. Regards Yipyip46

Your cb antenna will work , but not as good as a scanner antenna
