Hi
Does anyone have the air band frequencies yet for the newly opened Wellcamp Airport?
This is the new civil airport for Toowoomba. Sometimes called Brisbane West by the media.
I don't know if it has a tower or relies on Brisbane ATC/
Thanks

Re: Wellcamp Airport Frequencies?
According to ERSA, they are just using the Oakey/Toowoomba CTAF Frequency, 127.65 MHz, and Brisbane Centre 121.2 above 500 feet.AIRMAN wrote:Hi

Re: Wellcamp Airport Frequencies?
Hmm it will be interesting to see how long this airport lasts, Avalon only continues to exist because the silly Victorian government have thrown hundreds of millions of dollars to keep it open and operational and to keep Jetstar flying there in the 12 months leading up to the election, you watch as soon as this mob get thrown out and the next mob wipe their hands of it Jetstar will stop flying there and Avalon apart from freight will be finished, the loads into and out of Avalon are just about nill the numbers are in the low 10's and sometimes less.

Wagner Investments have a v8 touring car circuit (next to the airport of course) on the drawing board ... 2016 is the proposed completion date
