Re: Firecom North Coast Callsigns
Hi 312Alpha
Thanks for that information I do have this but I believe it was some years ago and i do know that the Nambour Station has changed from 86 to 73.
Also I had been hearing calls from a 451 appliance but can't work out where that is.
so I was wanting to see if there had been any other changes.
Thanks

Coghilla
Is there any significance with the stations in ALL Upper Case?
You have two Stations 236
236 Rockhampton, and
236 Thozets Road, Rockhampton
are they the same place?
You have two Stations 431
431 Childers, and
431 Gympie
My records show Childers as 413.
I was under the impression that 850 is State Operations and is co-located with Station 507 Cannon Hill.

Nice list.
I have made my own list in Google Maps just for North Coast. I have also included some Rural stations (The ones that I know the location of)
For those who want to use my list this is the URL: http://goo.gl/maps/duyQZ

Response Advice for Chemical Emergencies.dmint3 wrote:What is RACE
Provides specialist chemical advice to all the Emergency Services, Statewide.
If you are talking about State Operations, 850 is supposed to service the whole State, thats what the 8 means.and what is the station number for the special ops up north ????

Re: Firecom North Coast Callsigns
Race is the renamed scientific. RACE stands for - Response Advice for Chemical Emergencies.
State Operations Branch is based at Kedron Park and has under its umbrella Special Operations Command which is based at 50 Stn behind 7 Stn at Cannon Hill. There is no Special Ops base in any other region although 814N located in Townsville is also part of Special Ops.
