Anyone ever tried it? Looks interesting and I'm gonna give it a go. Just wondering if anyone else has had experiences.

We travel and we do geocache
most gps's will do the job, I have a couple and works well

you normally find a water proof container with stuff in it and a note pad
you can leave something in it and write something on the pad

some people make there own business style cards that they leave in there specially made for geocaching.

you also have http://www.geocaching.com.au that is linked to http://www.geocaching.com

We geocache a lot, and we love it. :D A nice way of mixing outdoors activity and technology. It's really taking off in Australia now, and there are all sorts of side games - waymarking, travel bugs, geocoins, challenges, etc.

If you want to see some of the bits and pieces you can buy, check out this Australian based geocaching store
