There was an 'Emergency Services Day' held at Discovery Park, Helensvale, on June 16 last year (2007), which was jointly organised by the Helensvale Lions Club, and the Local Member of Parliament, Phil Gray. Although I believe it was a "once only" event, perhaps you could contact either of them to ascertain if it is being held again.
