Hi,
Does anyone know of a vhf x band channel for the QAS on the gold coast? Looks right at alinco21
I know 79.6500 off Flinders Peak is x band for uhf vote 8, 79.7750 off Mt Glorious used to carry uhf vote 4 (appears to have been turned off a while ago). There is also a listing for 79.7000 at PCH, but I have never heard it active when in Brissy.
The sunshine coast has three active cross band freqs:
79.6625 Kelks Hill
79.7375 Wilkes Knob
79.6750 Mt Boulder

I pick up some 79 meg ambo freq's from my location. Not sure where they are from. They are a bit scratchy so I don't bother listening to them.

Re: QAS VHF X Band channel for Gold Coast
Thanks Paul. Looks like there isn't a x band for the gold coast. I have gone through all the acma listings and can't find one down that way.
Is the vhf channel at Mt Stradbroke co-located with the uhf or on a different site at Mt Stradbroke?
According to ACMA (site ID 39646), there is no vhf channel on that site
