UHF Channel 7
Hello, there were a few guys that used to talk on UHF channel 7 for a general chat. I could pick them up in Toowoomba and I believe it was through a repeater in Ipswich or somewhere like that. But I haven't heard them for a couple of weeks now, I wonder where they have gone?

The repeater is not located in Ipswich. If you look up the register, you will find the location.

To be honest with you, you won't hear much on those frequencies anymore these days, and most talk is now on a digital encrypted channel.

Hi GME,
the said repeater is located at Double Island point but the data base is reflecting as off line.

Re: UHF Channel 7
Good morning everyone, If you checkout the repeater listings you will find that there are several channel 7 repeaters within range of Toowoomba, Mt. England, Mt Glorious and Warwick just to name a few. A definite possibility is the repeater has been turned off dew to misuse or one of the recent storms has take the site down. I suggest that you just start asking questions on the other local repeaters as news travels fast. Regards Yipyip.
