Post by wooster »

Hey guys I got given a gme tx3600 it has 99 channels with the 40ch cb. Ch 1-8 have got dup on them and I cant figure out how to take it off. Have checked online for the manual but cant find any info on how to do it. Any info or instructions on how to fix it would be greatly appreciated

According to the manual, you need to program the talk around function. If this is a genuine UHF CB model, that should already be programmed in. I sent the site for the manual, but not having an actual radio in front of me, nor indeed access to one, it's a bit hard. Let me know how you get on.

I don't know. You sent a duplicate post and I replied with a manual site. Check that out first and look at programming the function keys. The fact that you have duplex means it is already programmed in. If I get a chance later on today, I'll have a proper look at the manual and see if I can fathom something out. Meanwhile, here's the link again...

Also, it looks like you're not the only one with this problem. Have a look here.
