LTR systems

Hello,

when i was travelling to robina to catch the bus. i decided to do some band scanning. did not find any LTR on my scanner. does it have a dedicated tone like TETRA and others or do i have to open squelech to hear it like TETRA.
does it come up on the radio display

help pls

Clinton,

there is one known LTR system which is located in robina and are located in these forums. as for the Control Channel no every channel acts as a control channel and send off a short burst every now and then. sounds like someone keys up and lets go straight away
