there hasnt been anything else said well except they had to get the town bores started to maintain the pressure and with that many lines i can see why

Hopefully by 9:15 the pub is quiet. Hate to see K9's. With that many lines and with BA retreating it must be a fairly serious fire.

Speaking to a mate of mine who heard the beginning. Apparently the pub is just around the cnr from the stn. Wouldn't have taken 5 mins to turnout. Fully involved upon arrival!

yeah it only took like 2 mins max for them to get there i was like wow its a goner. Thats the problem with those old 2 story queenslander type pubs they have lots of really dry timber to go up with.

Yes, and what's not dry is vodka soaked :-).

Just realised post has incorrect spelling of Charleville.

I think they just reported "embers were out" and "mobile to town" although again, sorry, not quite paying attention. Both of those could be from 353A. I doubt Charleville the embers are out. One was female one was male.

Sorry, not very reliable reporting. I'm listening to RadioReference feed. Need to get a proper scanner so I can listen without all the VKR traffic. Gets in the way of Firecom!

Yeah, fair call. I would imagine they would have it under control by now after 3 hours.

Already hit the Courier Mail's website (not much of a story though).

Guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the aftermath.
