Re: QFRS Firecom Southeast
Hello,
I have just applied to stream Firecom SE today
At home i used freq 464.2500 the office is located in Eight Mile Plains QLD
Is this still the best frequency to have it set to?
I am just waiting on the approval from radio reference for the feed and it should be up and going
Thanks
Adam

Re: QFRS Firecom Southeast
Neither 464.2500 nor 465.2500 is a QFRS Frequency.somqld wrote:Hello,

Hi Adam,
466.250 is the Mt Cotton repeater, so if your streaming from 8mile plains, that would be your best bet.
It would be tops if you could start streaming Sth East We have Nth Coast, Brisbane... But no Sth East...
Cheers

Re: QFRS Firecom Southeast
I am using scanner cast nice and easy to set-up i will install a bandwidth monitor also in the morning to see how much upload it uses.orangepeel wrote:What setup do you have running the feed ?
http://wiki.radioreference.com/index.ph ... g_Software
My scanner is a hand-held bearcat XLT120 is has been the best few hundred dollars ever spent i have used it for over 10 years and only today i purchased a new antenna for it it has never skipped a beat
i also have but am not using it any more due to the size a massive 25 - 1.3 mhz antenna however this is not portable it is over 1.5 mtr and about as thick as a toilet roll core it is however a great antenna for those hard to reach stations i used to mount it on top of a 7mtr mast for a CB radio many years ago.
