Scanning issues with the UBCD436-PT

Post by fletchba »

G'day Guys,

Still trying to figure a few things with this scanner.
I have encountered an issue that I can't bullshit my way through.

The scanner is set up to scan a number of profiles (i.e. Dist 04, Dist 08, Dist 27, MMR, Aviation)
All the other profiles are locked out.
All the service types are selected and there are no avoids on.

When it scans it will miss the Aviation profile I have checked by scanning the systems to find that it misses it out completely.

The AM channels are all correct.
There are no avoids set
The profile is ON to scan in scan selection
The service type for this profile is ON

I have looked at everything in the Sentinel program and it all looks good.
I have looked at everything in the Scanner itself and it all looks good.

Does anyone have any ideas that will prevent my scanner being impact tested against the bricks of my house?

Signed sincerely
Confused and aggravated

When you wrote to the scanner did you select Erase Favourites Lists on Scanner and Force Write Full Database ? Cosdoing that will ensure any previous profiles will be erased.
