Does anyone know what frequencies the buses use here in Newcastle?

This maybe late, but, have you tried Newcastlescan?

"Lakescan" and the ACMA search confirm that these analogue frequencies are current for the Government Buses

470.3500 - Cooks Hill
473.9250 - Lambton Heights
485.5750 - Belmont North
485.9250 - Mt Sugarloaf
486.4750 - Cooks Hill

Most of the Central Coast and Newcastle area private bus groups have migrated to the Orion DMR digital trunking network
