I didn't know there was a "commercial" version of the TX3600.It is a commercial GME, not just a CB
I figured that,if there was one, it would have a different model number to set it apart from mere CB radios..marketing.
Been wrong, before, though.

GME is currently selling this radio as a UHF CB, not commercial.youngn wrote:It is a commercial GME, not just a CBVkfour wrote:40 channel CB plus other channels for receive only.rustuc wrote:But they are meant to be a 99ch programmable radio aren't they??
Thanks all for the repliespeteramjet wrote:Rustuc, upload your file mate and I'll have a look at it for you.
As others have mentioned, the TX3600 is a commercial radio and can be programmed with any frequency in its band limits - this includes 80 channel CB, although it is likely only type approved for 40 channel CB.
If you can't upload the file you need to deselect the 'Enable Aust CB Channel' option and simply add the 80 UHF CB channels as per http://www.uhfcb.com.au/80-Channel-UHF-Information.php.
When you do program it, remember:
- mark each channel as ''Set as Narrow Band" (except 22/23).
- enable "Talk Around" on channels 1-8 and 71-78.
- disable transmit on 22/23 (for data only).
- disable transmit on 61/62/63 (not used).
