they are being introduced to replace the F350 Fleet. Bummer no more V8 noise, just icecream vans running around. ... end of an era!

I saw 2 of these outside the QAS regional workshop today in Rockhampton. I don't know that we had any F350s in rocky, I know there are a couple of F250 in town and sprinters look to be a lot bigger than them. When I get a chance I'll have to go over one inside.

These are a nice bit of kit. Because they are much larger than the standard Sprinter body though, there have been a few issues with fitting them under existing covered areas at stations and hospitals. These new vehicles are 7030 long x 2330 wide x 2855 high. I know of at least a couple of stations that are undergiong minor modifications because of this prior to receiving them.

These have been on the road for a while now and all the ones I have seen have various amounts of damage along the sides due to their size. Too big for the city environment.

The new Toyota Lancruisers which are very high are being introduced now. I can see some of them being damaged by low trees, building etc.

Nah mate I was allowed to look inside but the guys didn't want me to photograph it. Nice piece of machinery, inside is like a command/ Office type set up. Very Funky.

not hard to find on the Gold Coast, Southport, Nerang, Burleigh Heads and Runaway Bay Station have them.

Not a MDT but a info pannel that comes with the unit. Scan lights control, inside lights control, reversing camera.

Hand held sat phone
Matches and blanket for long distant messaging
