QPS Wide load escort

I have seen this one a few times now out west but have finally been able to get a couple of pictures of it.
I spotted it last night across the road from the main police station in Rockhampton.

Turns out its a hybrid camry.

This one has been running out of Rocky I believe. I see it a lot on the run between Rocky and Emerald. There is also a Pajero but its not stickered up like this. I actually saw it working today but wasn't quick enough to pull out the camera.

Does anyone have any info on the wide load escorts? Is it a separate branch within QPS like TEM is a commercial branch of QFRS?

it's a special duty, ie paid for by the company wanting the escort.

Same as with the football, concerts, roadworks and security at hospitals on Friday Saturday nights etc
