Well my set up is in a 97 VS Commodore sedan. I have the option to remove it whenever i want. I have a replacement din plate to put in when the CB isnt in there. Also the antenna is removable with connectors in the engine bay.
Antenna:
Repco P/N: EFUA6 ($74 antenna) Mounted on a Z bracket.
Radio:
Oricom UHF-080

Cheers, its handy like that, as i dont use it to talk to everyone else, just on cruises with mates. Car gets to drags and car events every so often so it comes off for that. But the look on peoples faces when they get flogged with country pack car is priceless

Yeah my set up is like that it can come out so easily and there's no holes in the bonnet from the antenna it's all held by the bumper bolts.

Yeah it's good, if i ever sell the car, just take it out and you wouldn't even know they were in there.
