What's with all the colours?

What's with all the colour codes in QAS pager messages?

For example:
AQUA4A
AQUA4B
BLUE4A
BLUE4B
GOLD3A
GREY4B
LIME3A
LIME3B
PINK3A
PINK3B
RED2A
RED2B
TAN3B
TEAL4A
TEAL4B

as well as:-

MATA3
MATA4
MATB5
MATB6
QMAT3B

here is some of the colour codes, thanks to macca

MAT(A)3 or QMAT4(A) are acute jobsed by drs and nursing homes etc)
MATA1 - Uncons/Cpr in progress
MATA2- Lights n Sirens
MATA3- No lights and sirens
MATA4- Not Urgent within 2hrs for p/u
MATA5(ACUTE CREW) - ONtime Appt with ambulance officer intervention eg. cardiac monitoring
MATA6(ACUTE CREW) - Return with ambulance officer intervention eg. cardiac monitoring

Matb5(PTS) Ontime appt.
Matb6(PTS) Return (when able to be accomidated)

The following are QH(Qld Health codes not used by drs surgerys etc)

Red1b - (Immediate Disp)Lights and sirens to hosp then lights and sirens form hosp to hosp Eg. RBH>PCH for a person with an MI(Miocardiacl infarction)

Red2a- (Immediate Dispatch)No lights/sirens but can be requested from dr at hosp (usually has RN/DR esc) serious condition req more advanced treatment eg. wynnum hosp >PAH for CVA Pt

Red2b - (Dispatch within 35mins) Not as urgent

Red2c - (Dispatch within 2hrs)

QMAT2a/2b/2c/3a/3b/4a/4b - when a QH(Qld Health Facility) requests a pick up it is classed as a QMAT

RED2a/2b/2c - from QH>QH hosp eg. RBH>PAH
Lime3a/3b - Ontime appt from QH to QH eg. RBH>PAH
Blue4a/4b Return from QH>QH hospital eg RBH>PAH

GOLD3A/AMAT3a Transfers from hospital to hospital via RFDS/Helicopters
on the pagers u may see alot of GOLD3a p/u at RFDS > pah or rbh etc this is the road leg of the journey
