Big Day Out

Post by 415Tango »

Do QPS run a separate channel during BDO? I heard from people that they did last year.
If so, does anyone know what channel or what frequency they'd be using?
Thanks

They usually run a couple of different channels, one for the traffic units outside the parklands and a separate channel for the crew inside. In the past they have been -

Traffic Command CH 34 - 468.250
Onsite Crews - CH 44 - 468.375 or CH 18 - 468.050.

These are all low power portable repeaters, or simplex so you will hae to be close or with a good line of sight to get them.
Good Luck!
