Scanner for NSW RFS

Post by Bidgee »

Hi. I'm new to scanning but after last years bushfires I'd like to follow the local RFS traffic. I'm after a budget handheld scanner capable of doing this so I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

TIA

UBCD436PT is going to be your best bet, I think its the cheapest P25P2 scanner.

Whilst RFS isn't phase 2 yet and you could get away with cheaper, it won't be long until they upgrade

I also recommend the UBCD436-PT. Steep learning curve but very good for RFS and other P25 users.
