Motorola GM338 frequency range
Hi I have got a Motorola GM338 radio and apparently you can get them in a couple of different frequency ranges, turns out I have the one from 450-520MHz and of course I want one from 403-470MHz. Is there a way to change that?, Maybe through software or firmware.

Re: Motorola GM338 frequency range
Not that I am aware of, (but someone might know)
CB freqs can be programmed into them provided the CPS is set at 5 watts Tx, but as this not approved radio for CB usage. (Will leave that alone)
There are a few GM339 or GM338 on ebay that are UHF low.
item 3.0 explains the model numbers on the radio.

possibly sell it and look for the other model.
hope it helps.
