QPS & QAS Portables

Post by bradbald »

Hi all,

I've been out of the game for a while and was wondering if anyone know what type of portables QPS and QAS are using in the Bundaberg area and in the Brisbane area. I figure they will be different as Bundaberg is not yet on P25 where as Brisbane is?

Thanks!

Hi Bradbald,

Can't confirm 100% but if QAS Bundy use the same UHF analogue portables as Brisbane Metro used to have, they're GP339's and they're pretty much useless unless you're 2m away from a truck or mid-resus

GWN contract called for apx6000 for cops and ambos and APX6000XE for fire (they are IS compliant)

cops did have apx7k in sql but they would have been redeployed outside gwn area or have been crushed
