Caught an interesting conversation

Hi all.

Caught an interesting conversation at 22.15 AEST tonight on RAVNET 165.2375 through out the night there had been a steady flow of units coming up asking for thier despatch times for thier paper work as they didn't have time at the time to write it down, when suddenly one oifficer after having been given his dispatch time just like everyone else decided to take it that one step further and make a statement followed immediatley by asking a question.

It went something like this

Ambo officer " So what's going on why aren't we getting the dispatch times any more I havn't had any all day,"

ESTA " And you won't get them any more until the new system is active soon.

Now is that a new paging system, an upgrade to the existing paging system, a new radio system, an addition to the existing Dispatch / radio system or a new dispatch system.

One can only wonder.

Update to the ESTA CAD software I think.

I think they went to Ye-Olde manual pen/paper for the duration.

There was a mention of it on a page that went out.
