Vertex Radio question

Hi all.
Has anyone got any experience with the Vertex 4600 mobile and the Vertex 426 Hand Held's we are about to buy some new gear and are tossing up between Icom and Vertex.

Vertex radios have worked really well for me, although I have never owned an Icom so I can really tell you which is best.

Good Morning, Both are good radios.I personally have a question mark hanging over the Icom Ic-41PRO as I have seen several with a faulty internal speakers. Icom may have rectified this issue by now. If you are having the radio programmed outside of the normal CB make sure you get someone who knows the programming backwards as there are a few ways of programming the various functions and the ease of operation can be effected. Both brands should give good service and the radios are type approved for use in Australia. Regards
