Schoolies 2013

Post by Gearbox92 »

Hi, can anyone offer any info in regards to what qps do with coms for schoolies? Do units on the beat at schoolies operate on main channel, or maybe a portable repeater, or would they take channel 103 off the vote group to be used...?

Im guessing qfrs would use a fire ground channel (correct me if im wrong) and qas would have a portable repeater for the event?

Thanks :)

Read back through the threads. I am sure this has been discussed in previous years.

I realise there is info from previous years on other threads (which i did read before asking the question) however with the changes to qps since then, i thought it would be usefull to try and get the latest information for myself and anyone else interested. I just came from the point that some members here have more accurate and up to date info than i have.

I do hear your point and I probably should have explained this in the original post.
