528K

[nbus qld]

It seems that 528K is no longer around as i have not heard it in at least 4 weeks and 502L has been up there. Does anyone know anything on it or not.

I know they were going to be replacing it soon with a larger tender similar to the ETs in the city. maybe its time has come. i was going to happen sooner or later, those F350's just kept on breaking down, and they have to get specific parts from the US which takes ages.
the only problem with having a larger tender in the station is that there wont be room for 528 Victa (Scania Water trailer).

Yeh 502L has been having sleepovers at 31 station alot , then 850L usually goes to 2 station

It's broken it's chassis from all the extra weight in the back of the truck. Been quoted as around 20 grand to fix but they're getting a new kilo anyway (most likely the new generation ones)

i thought they were getting a new one... from my past experience with cabo station i know the guys there were talking about it. this would have been a year ago now!!!

Yeah both Caboolture and Wishart are in line for new ones. Latest time that's been thrown around is March but it's really anyone's guess

I know that wishart has a lot of problems with there trucks but 17K seems to break down a lot now in fact so much so that a few months ago they were heading to a job in southeast but had to stop going when something went wrong but it will be good to see a new truck at both stations.

whilst everyone is talking appliances,
anyone know whats happened/happening to 502J, havent heard it in at least 3 weeks,
last time I saw it they had added more LED's to the front grill so it had the white, not just blue and red

Spoke to a firie from 8 station today, no more atego pumpers, let's just say the CEO at scania will have a shiny new car!

Yeah the Scania's are a much better truck. Until the Atego's improve their standards, it'll be Scania's for a while.

There is now a new truck as 528K or they just fixed up the ford.
