Channel 6 and 7.

Post by Streetholden »

Iv noticed for a long time, theres always these bogans on 6 and 7. Is it just a common station for people driving around or what? Or is it the people with CBs at home?

Bogan Wiki:
smokes Winnie blues (or Holiday 50's when they're on spesh at Woolies)
kids have rat tails, just like Nanna
bourbon n coke is all they drink
cb radio is a must because their in'ernet got stolen by the druggie next door in the housing commission flat
their cb's only have channel 6 & 7 'cause they can't count past the number of fingers they have
on dole day, good old uncle Jim let's em take his '84 XE Falcon for a drive around Kalangur and Inala.

I guess it's the anonymity factor, no one knows who you are so some people tend to turn into bogans on-air.
CB radio has always had bogans (even in the 70's when it took off in Australia).
Bogans love to be heard, so what better way than to spread Boganism to the masses over a public repeater network.
