Digital scan

Is the logan scan digital or analog and if it goes digital when and will it be available.

It is analogue at the moment but if it goes digital encrypted that will be the end of it as you can not decrypt it as of yet .

Thanks for the info as i was looking to purchase a scanner but if they go digital money will be lost.
Dont they have digital scanner out now though?

They do have scanners capable of picking up Digital transmissions but the police are going Digital Encrypted which means you wont be able to hear them at all no matter what sort of scanner you buy
