yes but i believe the original poster was saying that all of what has been said is NOW IN EFFECT. I haven't heard it anywhere else mentioned though??

If it is now law, how come there is no Media Release from the ACMA.
It is my understanding that it does not become Law until such time as it is Signed by the Minister and Gazetted, and as it was only Tabled in Parliament yesterday, it might be a couple of days yet.

Yep, i'll be waiting till it has been broadcast extensively to say it is now law before i go using the new channels.

The radio manufacturers have released the codes to open up the radios for all 80 channels.
