Thanks For That BrisbaneScan :)
Would Anyone Have A list of Call Signs For QPS For the area cause H'bay & M'borough both have several streets with the same name and it gets a bit confusing sometimes thanks :)

i think it depends on what mood they are in cause tonight some units + the female vkr person was using the alpha tagging but the male vkr person was using just the numbers along with some units using just the numbers.

469.300 is for Maryborough Police and covers Tairo South and out towards the South Burnett. It is on Mt Kanigan but it is sometimes used for Maryborough units talking to VKR Gympie and vice versa and Gympie units out along the South Burnett highway because conditions aren't that good out there. Recently, Gympie has their own frequency on Mt Corella for this area. Gympie is about the only place that doesn't use alpha tags as Gympie is just as easy to say as golf yankee.

So is 118 a stand alone or part of a vote group?

Re: MB & HB, the ACMA site shows 2 QPS frequencies on Fraser Isalnd. 468.175 at Eurong and 468.950 at Sandy Cape. Are these part of the Maryborough vote group or the Bundy Vote group, 1 of each or stand alone?
I'd love to plug my lappy into a radio to get the vote groups. Some of the lists I've seen show up to 10 channels in a vote group. I always thought there'd be no more than 6 due to the time it takes to aquire an RX channel. Does anyone have an accurate list or a good map of the channel plan?

Yep. Just get the Tait program and cable, plug it into the mic socket and "read" the radio. Takes about 40 seconds.

yes for every radio there is a peice of software. if you can get your hands on one of there radios and read it then you will have the channel plan, scan groups (vote groups) and everything you would need.

The ACMA Site also shows that:-

Eurong is Linked to Maryborough Police Station via Double Island Point, and

Sandy Cape is Linked to Maryborough Poice Station via Ghost Hill.

I hope someone is still active on such an old topic.

I am a new member and was just wondering if someone knew the frequencies for FireCom NorthCoast for the Hervey Bay area?

The code that I thought it was doesnt work, I was listening to a live stream while i was testing my radio and it would not pick up anything.

I hope that someone can help me as my radio is not a scanner just programmable.

Sold my Uniden 93XLT and now using Uniden 396XT
