Re: New banner
Why?
This is what we know the site by.
perhaps you should ask the people that are members, if in deed a change to the title is required.
refoucing does that mean you are now converting back to local stuff only??

Re: New banner
As you may have noticed, the site now covers other states aswell as Queensland therefore it makes sense to change the name, I have already had a couple of suggestions regarding banners and will probably put one into place within the next week.
Thanks Shane

Re: New banner
I think the words "AUSSIE SCANNERS" should be in a more prominent colour, such as Light Blue, so they stand out better. Maybe even a Bright Red, or a Bright Yellow. Currently you have Dark Blue against a Dark Gray/Black background - not a very good contrast.Rochedalescan wrote:We are currently refocusing/renaming the site and therefore need a new banner, if you have any idea's or want to have a crack at it yourself contact me for more information or post/email any designs or idea's you may have.

I would also like to see a "Mark ALL Forums Read" button on the main Forums Index page.

Re: New banner
Thanks for the comments in regards to the colours, I will have a bit of a play with it and upload a few so you guys can decide on it, also incase you dont know when you are on the main forums page you can roll over the "forum" button up the top and click "Mark Forums Read" however maybe a new button should be made for it.Comint wrote:I think the words "AUSSIE SCANNERS" should be in a more prominent colour, such as Light Blue, so they stand out better. Re: New banner
Well the first two examples certainly highlight what I was saying about the Dark Blue not really "standing out". And yes, I like the third example with the Yellow text on the existing background.Rochedalescan wrote:Put a couple of different designs there, do you want different coloured text or ?

Re: New banner
i will admit being a moderator i liked it as Rochedalescan as Scotty said had a local feel to it like a close knit group, with the change its Shane's thing i follow that and respect that.I know its something different going to national is different level but im sure give it time previous Rochedalescan members can get used to it hopefully meet other fellow scanning buffs from around the country learn something about the way scanning is around there area.
