Hey Rooster...

Some more updates to the list. Adding & Correcting... from actual monitoring..

OK, so can you add Ch's 23 & 34 to to Rockhampton Group. Confirmed all channels 9,23,25,34,36,48,54,72,92 & 120 are all Simulcast.

Add a New Group, Rockhampton (Eastern): 11,56,106,112 & 113. All simulcast as well. Serves the Byfield/Yeppoon/Emu Park Cap Coast Districts, and is separate from the Main Channel. I'm not sure what they refer it to, but Eastern is easier.

Also, the Gladstone & Biloela Grouped Channels, all seem to be Simulcast, as VKR Gladstone. So i don't believe they are Split.

The following Rockhampton (Western) Channels are all Confirmed as Working & Simulcast - 2,3,6,7,16,24,26,35,38,45,74,78,102. So, no changes there really....

All the Mackay Channels Still OK.

I'll update some more during my Travels..

Cheers.

Well it seems that the Gympie List will soon be obsolete, as they have started changing over to the new channels. See post here http://www.aussiescanners.com.au/forum/ ... =63&t=7891

It probably won't be long until they start in other districts as well

If anyone has any updates or info, that'd be great.

Cheers

I was looking at the ACMA this morning.
A lot of new enteries for Queensland Police over the last two days
Looks like regional sites are being planned/reallocated to cover the entire new government band

Thanks Comport and Liam,

Sorry for the delay, list updated on page 1 with your submissions.

Now that the Gympie area has switched over to the new channels in the HGS, I am wondering if the whole list should be converted to the HGS channel listing, or wait for each area to actually switch over??

Thanks,

469.5750 is one of the new allocations on Mt Stuart. They may still be running on the old channels. Are you able to search between 467.0000 and 470.000 and see what results you get please?

Hey mate
I did a lot of driving around today and scanning at the same time with work
Iv found some for all services
But I can’t seem to nail down the work groups anymore
I used to know
Main operation at castle hill Mt Stuart and kirwan
And the same with inquires channels
But yeah it’s like most of them have either gone digital or they don’t use them
Anyways this is what I have found today
Will be out most of the day again tomorrow so I’ll have it running again

Police
469.5750 VKR north
469.2500 Posable inquires channel
469.1750 vkr

Fire
467.6750

Ambo
412.7500 north clear
413.4000
413.1000 North clear main channel ?

Unknown

412.5500

Thanks Benny,

The new vote groups I have worked out:
TSV: 469.5750, 469.9250, 469.5500, 469.4750
Inq's: 469.9000, 468.7500, 469.1750, 469.2500

They may be in a transition period right at the moment...out of interest do you have a scanner that can decode ctcss tones? Interested to see what tones are on the QAS uhf channels.

Just a quick update regarding qps QUEENSLAND. It looks like VKR have combined GYMPIE Maryborough and Bundaberg areas into a single Despatch. Bravo golf is GYMPIE. Bravo mike is Maryborough and bravo bravo is Bundaberg. All areas appear linked. Makes for slightly more lively listening anyway. I suspect this amalgamation might be happening statewide. Any feedback from other areas would be appreciated.

The comms centre in Gympie is now only manned part time. They were using the Sunshine Coast comms centre but seeing as Gympie is a part of the Wide Bay and South Burnett District, it makes sense to combine with Maryborough and Bundaberg, and I agree, it does make for more lively listening, especially since they started using i pads.

There's been alot of confused responses since the combining of these areas and alot of confusion with which units have been assigned to what job.

^ confused responses as in, units may not hear the callsign prefix properly, or they are just used to hearing their old callsign for X amount of years and still adjusting to hearing their new callsigns plus other area callsigns

I remember when they merged Toowoomba with Cherbourg and Kingaroy areas, quite a few confused callsigns going around.

Really interesting that QPS does those areas through Toowoomba, however QAS goes through Bundy

Hi, Quick Q.
Analog scanner no longer useful, have been told not to buy a Digital Scanner as they would also be useless.
my Q. is, How come i can listen to the QPS & QAS on Broadcastify and other Apps....?
