Happens on a Saturday night at least once a month. Probably doing back-up, or updates.
Apparently the public access database is not as 'live' as some people would have us believe.

And here I was being naive and thinking it was 100% up to date.

So if someone registered a frequency, it could take up to 6 weeks to appear ?

Interesting... I was led to believe the same as most...

I thought it was up to date because they advertise that if you pass your amateur radio exam and get issued with a call sign that you may start using it as soon as it appears in the database, I wouldn't of imagined it would take numerous weeks to get that part completed.
Peoples callsigns are in the database? Where?

Your call sign doesn't take 6 weeks to go up. It' about 2 weeks and once it appears you can start using it.

You can start using it as soon as you get the paper back from ACMA.
