Re: ACMA Down Time
Happens on a Saturday night at least once a month. Probably doing back-up, or updates.Stretch wrote:ACMA's frequency search is down
Apparently the public access database is not as 'live' as some people would have us believe.

Re: ACMA Down Time
So if someone registered a frequency, it could take up to 6 weeks to appear ?

Peoples callsigns are in the database? Where?Intuition wrote:Interesting... I was led to believe the same as most...Stretch wrote:And here I was being naive and thinking it was 100% up to date.
I thought it was up to date because they advertise that if you pass your amateur radio exam and get issued with a call sign that you may start using it as soon as it appears in the database, I wouldn't of imagined it would take numerous weeks to get that part completed.

Re: ACMA Down Time
Your call sign doesn't take 6 weeks to go up. It' about 2 weeks and once it appears you can start using it.

Re: ACMA Down Time
You can start using it as soon as you get the paper back from ACMA.
