Interesting. I've tried Firefox, Edge and even IE, and they all report the not secure connection issue.

FF had an update the other day, but Edge hasn't.

This from Edge:

The connection for this site is not secure
login.proboards.com sent an invalid response.

I shall have to figure out how to allow the site in FF & Edge.

Edit:

After much googling for solutions to this error, resetting SSL, cache browser history etc. etc. I still cant login. Also installed Chrome and got similar error "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR". Also I set in the PCs system to ignore publishers/servers certificate revocation etc. no joy.

And I can't see any way in any of the browsers to add an exception or ignore the certificate error, so I am at a loss how to fix this.

The BoM site wouldn't play with FF due to some BoM site issue re https, but I installed Edge and got around that.

Odd that the issue with VRZ is across all browsers I have, and that it suddenly started a few days ago.

<sigh>

Interesting - found this on the Proboards forum dated a short time ago:

Further: I now get a Telstra Broadband message saying:
Telstra Broadband Protect

Malicious Content

We've blocked a website that may contain Malicious Content. The http://login.proboards.com site you've been blocked from visiting may contain viruses, trojans or spyware that can be harmful to your devices.
The report does have a "Report this website as safe" link which I've clicked on, so will see what happens.

Interestingly I can't register on the ProBoards website to report the issue because I get the same blocked message

All sorted thanks to Pumper_50 (and possibly Telstra action).

Yes. It's been down since the start of June.
Twitter feeds are still active, but nothing mentioned about what's going on with the site.

The site has been shut down. It is unlikely to return.

That's disappointing.
There was a lot of good advice and information from members there, along with the data.

The blog, site and forums had run their course. It was time to pull the pin.

@railscan is correct, it will not be returning, time for someone else to put on their boots and play a quarter.
