G'day Guys
I am wondering if anyone has a channel allocation plan for VPC.
EG: Geelong Region 2 Chan: 3
or what ever that looks like.
TIA

Re: Vic Police
If you check out Vicradio Zone you will find a list of talkgroups used by VicPol on the MMR network and the VHF channels currently used by VicPol in rural Victoria.
I don't know if that helps or if it is what you are after but it may give you an idea.

Just remember that Melbourne and surrounds are digitally ENCRYPTED. Rural areas are still on the old VHF analogue systems (for now!!)

Yeah, the vast majority of VicPol in the city (MMR) are encrypted, there are a select few that are clear though.
Drop me a PM me if you need a list.
Not that i've ever heard anything on them
Cheers bloke.

Re: Vic Police
I regularly hear the Highway Patrol units in the Frankston and bayside areas chatting to each other on 'Local 1' and 'Local 2' on the VHF analogue network. These are good channels to monitor during a holiday blitz. Also don't forget the 'old' 168 Mhz VHF channels. Units have been heard chatting on these also.
