looks nice, but what are the red and green lights in the grill just to the left used for?

They would be apart of the Flashing lights i believe.

Is it a possibility that they are really Blue and Red, and the lighting makes it seem like it is Green and Red.

I also notice that the appliance doesn't have the usual "Fleet Number QF" type of Number Plate.

Seen this topic raised before on Ozfire something to do vehicle not apart of the flashing light response system

If you look closely at a real life truck the red and green are more of a sticker warning to move the front grill before tilting the cab I think

Didn't have the QF No plate as it was a trial unit from Sasgar and Rosenbauer.
They were looking for an 'Off the shelf' appliance.
The Rosenbauer is a nice looking rig but can't carry as much as the current designs.
