G'day to everyone ;-)

Post by Just-Listening »

G'day to all you radio fans.

My first post here. I live in the S/E suburbs of Melbourne. I have been a CBer, SWLer and Scanner for many years.

I currently own 2 SSB CB radios, 2 UHF H/Hs, 3 Scanners and 1 SW Rx.

But, as my username implies, I mostly just listen. Rarely push the PTT button, even when I started with CB back in the '70s.

My main radio use is listening to ATC. I have been doing that for around 20 years. Next would be listening to all the "chatter" on the Amateur bands and CB bands. As for BC radio, it has to be 1026 kHz here in Melbourne.

I also am into "Flight-Sim", and have been doing that since FS95 was released, which got me interested in listening to ATC.

OK. Back to "Just-Listening" ... Cheers
