Re: TAP's
Yeah saw it at the workshops getting some work done not so long ago, so im pretty sure it will be back at some stage. Did hear a murmur at one point that a newer one would be coming down from Cairns to replace it but have not heard anything about that for a while.

Re: TAP's
Coz both 290 (631J) and 297 (645J) have been on the run for weeks. Both been replaced with other pumpers. May be final as it has been quite a while.
This will leave the Gold Coast short of ladders though.

Re: TAP's
Update on this,
Spoke to a service tech at Southport and 290's pump blew so it got sent up to Brissy for the pump to be taken out and the pump then gets sent over to WA but that takes months. 297 (645J) is currently sitting out the back of Southport FS with two pages worth of things that need fixing but it's all trivial stuff like the door lining is frayed so it's a very low priority. Stupid thing is its still operational but they wont use it till the service techs have used it and the service techs wont fix it until they have nothing to do.

Re: TAP's
Looks like the TAP's will be back sooner rather than later. Was down at Southport yesterday and 297 was in the workshops getting work done on it and 290 was out the back (ie back down from Brissy (pump included)).
