newbie hiya

Hi everyone I'm a newbie never been on a forum before so be gentle. Interested in scanning for years and used to listen to air, police emergency services alot years ago. Passed many a nightshift listening. Introduced through group of us into ham and building antennas. Very out of date but have found my old scanners a AOR 1000 and Icom IC-R10 which amazingly still work. Wanting to get back into the joys of scanning.
