There was a couple of them on Facebook, but they were world wide. It would be good to have our region :)

I am sure it will get used a lot, especially when there are "openings"

I like the idea of this. I have not done any SW for a while but do have very fond memories with the long wire out and my trusty Sangean kit. OK I know it is not a kick ass piece of gear but it does work on SSB and even has a BFO so there.

I don't do a lot of short wave these days more so due to time but when I do fire up the H.F. box I tend to spend most of my time on the oceanic USB Aviation H.F. Freq's it's more overseas airlines that Australian heard now due to the fact that a lot of them have moved to Sats comms but some times there are good openings and it gets very busy mainly SanFran, LAX a little bit of Bris and Auckland I used to do a lot of Acars and H.F. Selcal decoding but that has sort of fallen by the way side.
